Power or Freedom

Given a choice between the two, what is better ?
Absolute freedom along with limited power  or absolute power with limited freedom .
Or would it be like, if one has absolute power, freedom will follow and vice versa ?

Though this choice looks intriguing at the first notice, it really is a simple thing. In fact, this is not a choice at all.

When we say 'absolute power' it reaches beyond our common understanding of power. Absolute power empowers us to live our life the way we want. This does not have to be making others dance to your tune or interfering with their life in any way. With absolute power, you wont even feel a need to change anything anywhere.

Spiritually speaking, and it's only from that perspective you can understand it better, absolute power is nothing but absolute freedom. They are one and the same.

I think I would opt for Absolute freedom. As long as I have freedom to do what I want, I am happy.

Absolute power does not exist. Absolute power over oneself exists. But absolute power is not just absolute power over oneself.

Absolute freedom is non-existent as a result of our "civilization".

The only possible option is therefore to give up being civilized and be absolutely free. But, that's not for me. I don't think that would work for anyone.

If you are lenient on the absoluteness of power or freedom, I would trade off freedom for power.

Absolute power is a hyperbole. Whether it is the power over others or oneself, it can never be absolute. Can you have control over your reflex actions? Can you control your dreams?

Even God is restricted by what appears to be the laws of nature. (Can God break the limit of speed of light? I doubt!)So nobody can have absolute power in this randomly-organised universe.

Absoulte freedom is possible, for such time, till somebody in the society, more powerful than you restricts it.

Bringing in science, 'power' is the capacity (force), required to change the status of internal choice (inertia or freedom) of any object.

Thus, if we choose absolute freedom, it automatically shields you from interference by any power!

Hence the choice is clear. Absolute freedom, with limited(!) power!
